The visits to Benelli are enriched with new experiences: for some time, and thanks to the company's more than active interest, the “Città di Urbino” shooting range has returned to operation. Located on one of the many surrounding hills, it enjoys a position of absolute privilege due to the distance from the nearest houses, while offering visitors an enviable panorama: in the period of late spring the green declined in all its shades is punctuated by large patches broom yellow in full bloom. A show from which it is difficult to take your eyes off even when you are ready to "pull".
The naturalistic introduction appropriately welcomes Benelli's proposal with the new edition of the Montefeltro semi-automatic to which some changes of an aesthetic nature and practical validity have been made. Only when form and function meet is it possible to go beyond the standard and rewrite the canons of hunting performance. This is the incisive opening that the House proposes by illustrating the new product which, let's not forget, was born a few decades ago to satisfy a not inconsiderable part of the loyal clientele of the closed castle. Also in this situation, Benelli shows an intelligent consideration towards the probable buyers: therefore not the imposition of the superb project that has a worldwide emblem in Raphael, but the support of a different realization, equally valid and dearer to traditionalists, lovers of the specific solution.
Today the Montefeltro presents a castle modeled in a decidedly elegant and functional way, with lines of taste that are not only updated, but forerunners of the near future, captivating in their elegance combined with maximum yield on the field. The accurate balancing given by the distribution of the masses allows an instinctive and natural aiming which, combined with the ergonomics of the various controls such as safety and increased bolt lever, together with its release lever, make the use pleasant, fast and totally reliable.
The insertion of the cartridges in the magazine is also further facilitated by a recess in the guard, a technical accessory designed to make access to the trigger convenient for those with short hands. The clear, ready and constant click ensures maximum control and repetition in the action in total safety. The barrel of our shotgun measures 70 cm, but they are also available in 61, 65 and 76 cm to satisfy every need: drilled from alloy steel bar and rotomammed with Crio chokes for superlative shot patterns.
The two-piece stock can be in wood or synthetic, as well as that of the specimen that was entrusted to us for the tests on the platform and then on the hunt: the ergonomics of the grip points on the pistol and on the fore-end are also perfect. 'they are remodeled, correct the support of the cheek to the back and correct the elevation of the nose pad. There are adjustments in length and deviation to optimize them to your physical conformation. 
Still two details such as Easy Loading and Easy Locking favor the insertion of the cartridges in the tank and the correct closure of the bolt, without too much noise so as not to make the game suspicious. The low weight of only 3,0 kg with the 70 cm barrel is an additional advantage for a port that is not heavy during the whole day of hunting.
