Beretta launches 687 Silver Pigeon V

 The Silver Pigeon evolves with the V version, the top of the range of “standard” over-and-under from Beretta. Hunters will love this iconic weapon even moreefficiency,reliability and the minimum maintenance requirements inherited from the 680 platform. The new model is characterized by a renewed aesthetic combined with a superior wood class. The fine engraving is made with the most modern 5-axis laser technology and in the bas-relief areas it is embellished with special knockers, which create a pleasant contrast effect, highlighting the floral motifs on the receiver, opening key, underguard, receiver breasts , pins and forend release.

La glossy finish enhances the grain and protects from rain and humid climates i precious class 3 woods, a qualitative leap compared to the 2,5 class of the Silver Pigeon III. To top it all off, an infallible ballistics thanks to the triple-alloy steel barrels Steelium Optima-Bore HP.

The special Optima-Bore HP geometry, with double 80 mm connection cone, is designed to offer excellent performance e always perfect and uniform patterns with any type of ammunition, while reducing recoil and wheelie. The chokes Optima-Choke HP 70 mm long are also perfect with steel shot.

La upper rib windowed (6 × 6 mm for the hunting version and 10 × 8 mm for the Sporting version) it is characterized by the accurate anti-reflective checkering and the spherical steel front sight: a clear reference to the most exclusive Beretta over-and-under.
