The A400 Xcel is equipped with the operating system with B-Link ultra-rapid gas outlet by Beretta: this technology allows a 36% faster firing cycle compared to the competition. The power of this system, combined with the precision of the rotating bolt, ensures fast, reliable and intelligent reset. The redesign of the gas outlets and the systematic reduction of all mechanical clutches made it possible to contain ai firing residues and the need for maintenance are minimal.

The barrel of A400 Xcel Sporting is made of triple-bonded steel with Steelium proprietary technology. It is therefore characterized by a deep drilling, cold hammering and vacuum distension. Kick-Off Plus consists of two elastomer shock absorbers, positioned close to the rubber insert and equipped with return springs, which effectively act on the first recoil peak, reducing its perception by up to 40%. A third elastomer shock absorber, inserted in the tie rod, absorbs the impact of the carriage against the carcass, reducing the second peak of recoil, the wheelie effect and the vibrations caused by the movement of the carriage.
